SPECIAL CARVING

The following carving was carved by a special friend who passed away earlier this year. Dave had taken this on many of his trips to try and have it completed before the Middletown Woodcarving Show, where I was to be a judge. Dave became extremely ill in February of 2003 and was unable to complete the carving for the show. Dave's wife gave the carving to another one of Dave's friends to complete for her. Rose presented the carving to me at the Artistry in Wood Show in Dayton Ohio at their banquet.

WHAT A GREAT SURPRISE AND IT WILL BE CHERISHED BY MY FAMILY. IT HAS A SPECIAL PLACE IN OUR HOUSE.
